FIRST KONKOMBA ARTIST FROM KPASSA TO CELEBRATE HIS 25th ANNIVERSARY IN KONKOMBA MUSIC INDUSTRY.

  Moagyo Joseph is the first person to release a song Konkomba song from Kpassa township. Mr. Joseph is a KONKOMBA musician who started his music Carrie at about 25 years today. Due to this, he wants to have a program at Accra to inform people about how the journey started. Mr. Joseph said, the person who led him to music has passed on, he said the person was known as John Tabo Gmabam AKA TABO UP AND DOWN. He started his music Carrie the year 1988 which he used to sing in church. According to him, he is the zonal chairman for Accra Konkomba Artists. Mr. Joseph has helped a lot of KKB underground Artists to explore in the Konkomba music industry. The journey of his music Carrie was easy but he tried his best and made it through. Mr. Joseph again said he has trained 55 your people to become musicians in Nkwanta North and Ghana as well. We came together and decided ourselves in to zonals which he the chairman for the Kkb music industry.

Moses T.K Banne Enstooled As Chief In Tatale District - Kpalbutaab

  Ghanaian Highlife musician, Moses, well known as Moses TK has been esteemed as chief by the traditional rulers of Tatale District in the Northern Region of Ghana. The enstoolment was said to have happened on Saturday, 18th November 2022.  Moses TK’s enstoolment is to recognize him for improving the name and image of the Tatale and Kpalbutaab communities through his music, according to the area’s leader. “Moses TK has raised the name of Tatale and Kpalbutaab. The name I want to give MOSES TK today among all the musicians in Kpalbutaab is Ubore Kumbub ii” the chief of Tatale said. During his acceptance speech, MOSES TK expressed his undying gratitude to the traditional rulers of Tatale for honoring him with the chieftaincy title. “I will like to thank the chief and elders for this title and honor gave me. I thank him so much and everyone present. I assure the chief and elders that I will not relent but work to lift the name of Tatale Sangul as a youth, I will deploy all means possible

Some Chinese arrested due to the controversial Ellembelle excavators

  A special operation conducted by the police between Wednesday night and the dawn of Thursday, September 8 in Ellembelle has led to the arrest of five Chinese. The operation was conducted in connection with the two missing but found excavators in Ellembelle in the Western Region. The suspects are currently in police custody,  3news.com . The operation comes just a day after the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Ellembelle, Kwasi Bonzo, was arrested for obstruction. He was sent to the Western Regional Police Headquarters for obstructing officers from carrying out their duty. The officers had found the excavators, said to have gone missing while in the custody of the police. According to the police, Kwasi Bonzo will be arraigned before court on Thursday, September 8. He was granted bail hours after his arrest, though it took sometime before his lawyer was given access to him.

People Living with Disability Under Nkwanta North District enjoys common fund disbursment.

  People Living Disability within the jurisdiction of Nkwanta North District are Overwhelmed Today for the disbursement of their Disability common funds by the district assembly. Nowadays, Ghana government does not want to give physical money to Persons With Disability (PWDs) because they misuse it or doesn’t use it for intended purpose.  In this case, the MMDAS can give physical money to PWDs on peculiar issues like settlement of medical bills or medications and Private Special School Fees of which the bill amount must be attached to the application letter, which Nkwanta North is not an exception. Due to this, Nkwanta North District has today did their 9th disbursements since the Ghana government  instructed the MMDAS to start giving physical monies to PWDs.
