Two physically challenge twins in Kata in the Volta region have received a fully furnished three bedroom house from Rebecca foundation.
Rebecca foundation has donated a three bedroom house to Aram and Aarami who became paralised after taking an injunction on a disease that attacked them.
Life became tough for them in a family of six. There were no enough rooms to accommodate the entire family. Their story was aired on Tv3 which caught the attention of the Rebecca foundation. The foundation has built and furnished for them a three bedroom apartment which is disability friendly to make access to the apartment easier for them. This kind gesture happened in March 2022, and now Aram and Aarami have a place to call home.
The Director of Rebecca foundation Akosusa Newman said, touching life's of the vulnerable in the society is the source of pride to the foundation.
She again said, they have been building hospitals for communities but this particular project was aired on TV3 which touched the first lady and she came to their aid to render support through her foundation. The parents of Aram and Aarami were grateful for what the foundation has done for them.
"I was so overwhelmed because the whole thing was a surprise, we were not expecting this and we are more than grateful and I pray God should bless her and the foundation.
The family
again said, they went to so many foundations for support but yield no results. The twins were very happy for
what the foundation has done for them. Finally they pleaded with the public to
help them raise an amount of one hundred and thirty thousand Ghana cedis to
enable the twins undergo surgery for their knack.
