Breaking: National Service Personnel To Go On Strike On Monday .

A group calling themselves the Concerned National Service Personnel has called all National Service Personnel to go on strike on Monday, 30th May, as well as hit the street of Cape Coast with a peaceful demonstration.

This action has to do with the delay in payment of their allowances as they are being owed two months of unpaid allowances.

The official letter that was released to all media houses and user-agencies reads:

Upon the many attempts to draw the attention of the National Service Scheme to our plight but yet to no avail, the organisers of the Concerned National Service Personnel write to you to vacate your post and redraw from every work you are rendering under the directive of the National Service Scheme at your user-agency effective Monday, 30th May 2022.

As part of the measures set in place to demand, there is going to be a press conference and a peaceful demonstration on Monday, 30th May, in Cape Coast, Central Region.

We encourage all National Service Personnel in the country to comply with this directive as it is our right to demand for justice.
