Ghana's inspectors hand over foodstuffs to D Rose foundation orphanage home in Accra.

Different types of foodstuffs by the Accra Metropolitan Environmental Health Inspector were donated to D Rose Foundation, an orphanage home in James Town, Accra. When the Joy Clean Ghana campaign team came out to get the vendor's attention, food inspectors found that the food had been confiscated but sold in unauthorized locations.

Criminals were usually forced to pay fines to the Accra Metropolis Assembly(AMA) and receive seized goods, but criminals were resolute. Therefore, the inspector decided to donate things to the orphanage.

By donating items, Environmental Health Director Florence Kuukyi urged shelter managers to ensure that the donation served its purpose. the founder and director of the shelter, praised AMA staff for using the seized items for this legitimate reason.

Madam Sowah  reported that provision diapers to children became a major issue and called on businesses, churches and individuals to help them.
