  Moagyo Joseph is the first person to release a song Konkomba song from Kpassa township. Mr. Joseph is a KONKOMBA musician who started his music Carrie at about 25 years today. Due to this, he wants to have a program at Accra to inform people about how the journey started. Mr. Joseph said, the person who led him to music has passed on, he said the person was known as John Tabo Gmabam AKA TABO UP AND DOWN. He started his music Carrie the year 1988 which he used to sing in church. According to him, he is the zonal chairman for Accra Konkomba Artists. Mr. Joseph has helped a lot of KKB underground Artists to explore in the Konkomba music industry. The journey of his music Carrie was easy but he tried his best and made it through. Mr. Joseph again said he has trained 55 your people to become musicians in Nkwanta North and Ghana as well. We came together and decided ourselves in to zonals which he the chairman for the Kkb music industry.

  Ghanaian Highlife musician, Moses, well known as Moses TK has been esteemed as chief by the traditional rulers of Tatale District in the Northern Region of Ghana.   A special operation conducted by the police between Wednesday night and the dawn of Thursday, September 8 in Ellembelle has led to the arrest of five Chinese. The operation was conducted in connection with the two missing but found excavators in Ellembelle in the Western Region. The suspects are currently in police custody,  3news.com . The operation comes just a day after the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Ellembelle, Kwasi Bonzo, was arrested for obstruction. He was sent to the Western Regional Police Headquarters for obstructing officers from carrying out their duty. The officers had found the excavators, said to have gone missing while in the custody of the police. According to the police, Kwasi Bonzo will be arraigned before court on Thursday, September 8. He was granted bail hours after his arrest, though it took sometime before his lawyer was given access to him.

  Ghana’s Food and Drugs Authority ( FDA ) has debunked claims that sachet water on the market is contaminated with faecal matter. The Authority said the outcome of its regular surveillance of sachet water producers is not in conformity with observations by the Ghana Statistical Service. A study by the Ghana Statistical Service revealed that most sachet water on the market was contaminated with faecal matter. The multiple indicator cluster survey conducted in 2017 revealed 34.1% of households in Ghana which relied on sachet water as a drinking water source had an appreciable amount of Esherichia coli, a contamination indicator. In a response to media reports on the poor quality and safety of sachet water, the FDA assured of regular inspection of manufacturing facilities premised on the Authority’s guidelines.    Four  persons are in a critical danger when a gas cylinder exploded in the house. These  happened in the Oti Region Kpasaa in the Nkwanta North District on Saturday around 7:00pm Those who sustained minor injuries were admitted at SOMACAS health center and Kpassa Pentecost Clinic for treatment. These happened at Kpassa around Kpasaa water company office, where  family members and tenants were at home at that moment . Per the reports given, about eight persons sustained injury in this incident.  The cylinder exploded with louder noise which make people around to heard and then rash to the sense, and before they could get there the room already caught fire. Spread the love A Military officer in the  Ghana Armed Forces (GAF)  has reportedly died of the  Monkeypox  disease at the Upper East Regional hospital. The soldier succumbed to the disease a couple of days after reporting to the hospital, according to a report carried by A1 Radio, a radio station based in Bolgatanga. The Upper East Regional Health Director,  Dr. Emmanuel Kofi Dzotsi  who confirmed that one person has died of the deadly disease explained that the victim reported at the hospital on Saturday July 23, 2022 and unfortunately died three days after. “All that I can say is that yes, we have recorded one case and the person has died. I will not be able to give further information because we will brief the media in the coming days,” he said.
